When I tell people about my recovery, they often ask if I used an eczema natural remedy or whether I used over the counter or prescription meds.

Basically I used all kinds of natural treatments. I discovered that there are lots of things we can do in our everyday lives that have a positive effect on our skin care and eczema relief.

Yes, there are many eczema herbal remedies that you can use and there are lots of home remedies. But, in fact, the best eczema natural treatment is trying to prevent any eczema flare-ups from happening.

And although it seems almost impossible when you’re going through yet another attack and searching desperately for some kind of relief or cure, there is a way out of the itch-scratch-itch vicious circle by following an eczema natural remedy.

I found that what seem to be unimportant daily habits can have an important effect on our skin. What we wear, the cosmetics we use, what we drink. All of these things can harm your skin or can help it. Until I started changing my habits I had no idea what a difference such small changes can make.

Healing eczema, in the end, depends on keeping your flare-ups under control. And that, in turn, depends on knowing exactly what the root cause of your condition is and on following a healthy lifestyle. If you do that you’ll find that you won’t need to worry about any particular type of eczema natural remedy, or medication, because you won’t be suffering attacks any more.

It took me years to find this out and all that time I was chasing after one eczema cure after the other without realizing that the secret was inside me, not outside.

I hope the articles on this website can help you to realize this much quicker than I did. In my next article I’ll explain how I came to learn how to keep my flare-ups under control and I’ll share with you the secrets of my eczema natural treatments.
Discover the most useful and effective eczema natural remedies and why they are so good for you.

Anyone who’s experienced an eczema flare-up will know that at that moment you’ll try absolutely anything, whether it’s an eczema natural remedy or not, to bring it under control. I know I used to wonder, like a lot of other people, if eczema natural treatments – herbal remedies or home remedies – could be as effective as doctor-prescribed medications.

Well, now I can tell you that they definitely can, and, in many cases they can be even more effective. I’m not a doctor so I don’t know why, but I do know that since I took to healing eczema just with natural cures and treatments, my condition has improved beyond recognition.

What herbal remedy would I recommend? Well, the best known herb for skin care, and one that I use all the time is aloe vera. It’s a natural hydrant that helps in soothing skin, but also helps in healing cuts and treating sun burns

Another group of herbs that come under the eczema natural remedy label are the ones that possess cleansing properties, such as dandelion, chamomile, lime flowers and rosemary herbs.

Antiseptics are another important part of herbal skin care. Lavender, marigold, thyme and fennel are good examples of herbs that are known to possess antiseptic properties. Lavender water and rose water also form good toners.

Finally, oils prepared from herbal extracts are just one more example of natural eczema treatments or herbal skin care. Tea tree oil, Lavender oil, borage oil and primrose oil, for example, are some popular oils used in herbal skin care.

And what about home remedies? If you ask your granny, she’ll probably tell you about quite a few. But perhaps the two most effective eczema home remedies in my experience are drinking orange juice and eating raw tomatoes!

Again, I’m not a medical or scientific expert, but I’ve been told that tomatoes have a lot of antioxidants and amino acids and other properties that are good for the skin. If you don’t like oranges or tomatoes, you can try carrot juice, spinach juice and coconut oil.

As you can see, inside or out, there are plenty of eczema natural remedies that you can try. And I do encourage you to try them – you won’t be disappointed!
