Eczema Natural Remedy: Natural AND Effective?
Anyone who’s experienced an eczema flare-up will know that at that moment you’ll try absolutely anything, whether it’s an eczema natural remedy or not, to bring it under control. I know I used to wonder, like a lot of other people, if eczema natural treatments – herbal remedies or home remedies – could be as effective as doctor-prescribed medications.
Well, now I can tell you that they definitely can, and, in many cases they can be even more effective. I’m not a doctor so I don’t know why, but I do know that since I took to healing eczema just with natural cures and treatments, my condition has improved beyond recognition.
What herbal remedy would I recommend? Well, the best known herb for skin care, and one that I use all the time is aloe vera. It’s a natural hydrant that helps in soothing skin, but also helps in healing cuts and treating sun burns
Another group of herbs that come under the eczema natural remedy label are the ones that possess cleansing properties, such as dandelion, chamomile, lime flowers and rosemary herbs.
Antiseptics are another important part of herbal skin care. Lavender, marigold, thyme and fennel are good examples of herbs that are known to possess antiseptic properties. Lavender water and rose water also form good toners.
Finally, oils prepared from herbal extracts are just one more example of natural eczema treatments or herbal skin care. Tea tree oil, Lavender oil, borage oil and primrose oil, for example, are some popular oils used in herbal skin care.
And what about home remedies? If you ask your granny, she’ll probably tell you about quite a few. But perhaps the two most effective eczema home remedies in my experience are drinking orange juice and eating raw tomatoes!
Again, I’m not a medical or scientific expert, but I’ve been told that tomatoes have a lot of antioxidants and amino acids and other properties that are good for the skin. If you don’t like oranges or tomatoes, you can try carrot juice, spinach juice and coconut oil.
As you can see, inside or out, there are plenty of eczema natural remedies that you can try. And I do encourage you to try them – you won’t be disappointed! If you prefer, click here to find out how I managed to cure my eczema.
