About Me
My name’s Ruth Jordan and I’d just like to tell you a little bit about myself and explain why I decided to create this website.
I’m one of those people who had the bad fortune to suffer from eczema ever since I was a child. You can read all about my experiences on the main page of the site, but if you’ve suffered from eczema as well you’ll already know the sorts of experiences I went through!
Pain and itching, taunts from schoolmates, and then, during adolescence a feeling of being completely different and inferior to the other girls. And, of course, no boy would come anywhere near me.
I tried everything I could – creams, medications, you name it, I tried it. Sometimes my eczema would get better for a while, but it soon came back again. As you can imagine I visited lots of doctors, read lots of books…
One day, at last, I found a book that finally helped me to get rid of my eczema – for good. I found it on internet, so I thought I’d use internet to let other people know what had happened to me and how I’d gotten over my problem.
I know how desperate you can get, how bad you can feel, so I decided to make this website to explain exactly how I’d solved my problem and how you can solve yours, too – or your child’s problem if it’s your child that has eczema. I’ve been lucky that way so far. My young baby, thank God, hasn’t suffered from eczema and I pray that he never will.
My wish is that anybody who has eczema and visits this website can have the same success as me and end up as happy as I am now.
